Illegal Dumping
The Solid Waste Authority has teamed with PA CleanWays and others to participate in the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) Forest Beautification Project. The primary focus of the project is to cleanup illegal dumpsites on state parks and forests and to educate residents on the hazards created by illegal dumping.
The Wayne Township Landfill offers a $250.00 reward for information leading to the successful conviction of littering violations in Clinton County. We also offer free tire disposal events as well as household hazardous waste events for these items to be properly disposed of so they do not end up in illegal dumpsites.
