You may have seen the Authority’s new grounds keepers when driving by the landfill. During 2003 a township resident needed a place to keep his 20 or so goats and we offered our landfill. Well the goats turned in to be mowing machines and are now permanent residents. They actually have saved the Authority time and money due to their grazing habits. Travelers can often see the goats “working” as they pass the landfill on SR 220.
