Recycling
The Authority operates a countywide recycling program which utilizes both curbside and drop-off collection methods. The Authority's commitment to the success of the county recycling program is made evident by the changes made to the recycling program since 1998, i.e., purchase of multi-material baler and processing equipment, facility improvements, an increased focus recycling education. etc.
A nominal annual fee for the bi-weekly curbside collection service has been established to help offset the high operational costs associated with the curbside collection. Click here for the Curbside Recycling Application.
For the residents who choose not to participate in the curbside collection program, recycling drop-off sites are provided throughout the county free of charge. The Authority is continuing to work with county municipalities in regard to establishing additional curbside collection programs and/or drop-off collection sites.
The Authority is available to advise county businesses, industries, and institutions on the benefits of recycling and to help with the development of individual recycling programs to meet their needs. Contact the Clinton County Recycling Coordinator at 570-769-7802 or by e-mail at mcrist@waynetwplandfill.com.
