Services We Provide
The Solid Waste Authority offers a variety of services to Clinton and surrounding counties. These services are summarized below: (click here for RATES)
Solid Waste Management
The Authority is available to assist businesses and industries with their solid waste management decisions. This can range from the performance of waste audits or reviews to the completion of DEP required disposal forms.
Waste Hauling
The Authority owns several 100 cubic yard walking floor trailers, which are available for hauling select waste such as, construction/demolition, foundry sand, contaminated soil, etc. If your business or project requires the placement of a roll-off container the Authority can assist you with selecting a local waste hauler.
Wood Grinding
The Authority owns a Morbark Model 1300 Tub Grinder and a MorBark Trommel Screen, which are used to process wood material into high quality landscape mulch. These machines are available for rent to grind wood waste throughout the North Central Region of Pennsylvania.
Recycling
The Authority operates a countywide recycling program which utilizes both curbside and drop-off collection methods. Authority personnel are available to assist municipalities, businesses, and industries with recycling issues, i.e. collection, market coordination, education. etc.
