The Solid Waste Authority offers a variety of services to Clinton and surrounding counties. These services are summarized below.
The Clinton County Solid Waste Authority (CCSWA) has opened the region’s first public accessible fast fill Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling station at the Wayne Township Landfill, located in Clinton County, PA.
The Authority is currently producing a high quality filter sock material, i.e., compost(S), at our mulching facility. This material can be easily blown or augered into filter socks. Our customers find that the compost(S) material is a consistent product and easy to use.
A five track rail siding has been constructed off the Norfolk Southern rail line which goes through the Wayne Township Landfill’s (WTL) property in McElhattan, PA. The rail siding gives the WTL another transportation option for incoming and outgoing materials.
The Authority is available to assist businesses and industries with their solid waste management decisions. This can range from the performance of waste audits or reviews to the completion of DEP required disposal forms.
The Authority owns two Morbark Model 1300 Tub Grinders and a MorBark Trommel Screen, which are used to process wood material into high quality landscape mulch. These machines are available for rent to grind wood waste throughout the North Central Region of Pennsylvania.
The Authority can provide your business or other establishment with the disposal of large loads with our waste hauling. The Authority owns several 100 cubic yard walking floor trailers to assist you.
